Details:

This large ceramic sculpture is the work of the Milanese sculptor Toni Fabris. A rare and unique piece was created in Fabris' Brera Studio in early 1960's. It depicts a large tortoise who's shell is comprised of sculpted figures of people and animals. Covered in white enamel with black enamel detailing, the piece is signed "T.Fabris" at the base of the tail.It is a rare find of museum piece quality.
