From the dawn of time, mankind has looked to the stars seeking a sense of direction. As a means of understanding who we are, where we are, and where we are going. As the second decade of the twenty-first century comes to a close, we stand on the precipice of time, looking towards the dawn of a new era. KalaRara seeks to be at the forefront of this exciting new age. As man develops the means to travel to the stars, questions arise. What undiscovered countries await us? What will we bring with us from our past? How will we define ourselves amongst the stars? How will we retain our sense of self? At KalaRara we aim to be a part of the dialog that seeks to answers these questions. By curating a collection of rare and unique pieces that span centuries and cultures. Through the use of sustainable materials in the creation of one-of-a-kind pieces designed by KalaRara and realised completely by hand. Perhaps most importantly, by giving new life to the endangers skills, techniques and craftsmanship passed down by artisans for generations. The “All The Stars” collection presented at FuoriSalone 2019 embodies our philosophy as a company and expenses our intentions as designers and artists. Each piece is unique of its kind and made by hand through the use of both time honoured and innovative techniques. As we move forward into the future we will take our history and culture with us.
